CEATTC Science to Service Initiative

The purpose of Central East Addiction Technology Transfer Center (CEATTC)/National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) Science-Service Initiative is to increase translation and application of research into addiction treatment throughout the Central East ATTC region, with the ultimate goal of addiction treatment professionals adopting and implementing these evidence based practices into their everyday work.

To achieve this goal, the Central East ATTC facilitates collaboration among researchers, community treatment providers and other key stakeholders involved in applying addiction science within the Central East ATTC region, and acts as an agent to help identify and address the field’s needs to be supported by research.

The purpose of this section of the website is to provide easy access to resources that support science-service endeavors. This site is broken into four main resource areas: Science and Practice, Best Practice Resources, Addiction Research Centers, and Funding Opportunities. It also includes a message board which allows professionals to comment and discuss their use of evidence-based practices.

Disclaimer: The NIDA/CSAT initiative section of this website does not provide a complete listing of all resources within each section.
