Eight institutions offer courses that focus on substance abuse issues. Through efforts of the DC/Delaware ATTC (forerunner to the CEATTC), Howard University’s School of Pharmacy, Nursing, and Allied Health Sciences has mandated that a substance abuse course that was previously offered as an elective, is now mandatory for the students in Allied Health.
