KEEPING IT REAL 2006 CONFERENCE
Street-Level Intervention Strategies for Addiction, HIV/AIDS, and Hepatitis
March 22-24, 2006
Clayton Hall at the University of Delaware
Newark, DE

Our fifth annual conference was geared towards outreach workers and related healthcare workers regarding HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, and substance abuse. The conference agenda was built around the Outreach Competencies that were developed by the CHHATT. The overall goals of the Keeping It Real 2006 Conference were: (1) To provide cutting edge information on addiction and co-infection with HIV and hepatitis C to outreach workers and substance abuse counselors; (2) To improve efforts to find and assist hard-to-reach population and special populations; and (3) To improve prevention of co-infection through knowledge dissemination activities including conferences and post-conference products. The conference was co-sponsor by the Delaware Health and Social Services, Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health.

Now available is a CD-ROM version of the proceedings that can be ordered for $5 (includes shipping and handling).
