About Us

The Central East Addiction Technology Transfer Center (CEATTC) is one of the regional centers throughout the United States and its territories funded through a cooperative agreement with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA) Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT). The CEATTC covers Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, and New Jersey. The CEATTC is managed by The Danya Institute, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting health, education, and well-being of individuals and communities.

The CEATTC focuses on improving the skills, knowledge, and attitudes of addiction treatment professionals, and providing support to the States in our region for the promotion of addiction-related curricula and programs. CEATTC activities include the provision of direct and online training and technical assistance, as well as dissemination of print and electronic resources through our Internet site, newsletters, emails, and faxes.

The CEATTC houses the Center for HIV, Hepatitis, and Addiction Training and Technology (CHHATT) which addresses the prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, and other infectious diseases in drug-using individuals. The CHHATT activities focus on enhancing the professional development of outreach workers.

The CEATTC includes an evaluation component, that works both within the CEATTC region and on a national basis with the entire network of ATTCs.
